There's an exception where they don't need a warrant or even reasonable suspicion to search your person or property, including electronic devices at the border. The only thing they need suspicion for is strip searches and body cavity searches. One of the court of appeals upheld this, but don't recall which one. That...ok...I'm not happy about but it is what it is. But since I no longer have my 4th amendment right while crossing the border, I'm going to exercise my 1st amendment right until I'm blue in the face. And that one still applies while you're going through customs.

 

That was coming back into the states right? I used to go up there to Leimington in my pov quite abit. Coming back into the US was always a pain in the butt!!

Mike, I talked to another Driver who had an issue with getting stuck up there and waiting a couple of days to get a load. They told Roehl they didn't have a passport anymore. When Roehl said yes you do they told them I have a passport but Roehl doesn't. Lol!. I guess they haven't tried to send him back since.

 

At the cons in Mounds View, MN. I got a pre plan to pick up a trailer about 20 miles west of here once to Titletown. Its only a 300 mile run. I hope this is not a sign of how my weekend is going to be.

 

In Ohio picking up in Minerva then relaying to mogadore then picking up preloaded at mogadore and relaying to Gary so ill be in Gary tonight if you wanna hang and catch a bite maybe

 

In plymouth wi got a load headin to gary. i hope its my home load if not ill get some ###### load out of gary and back tommorow. havent been home in a month. Now thay its close im getting anxious.

 

My load was picked up 3 days ago by tmc.

Sitting here waiting to hear what iam suppose to do and two more roehl flatbeds pull in. My bet their loads are fine.
