Over $30;000.00 on an inframe. The platinum kit doesn't cost but $9;000.00. Where did all the money go?

Trying to break it down gets confusing. It was confusing when I first had it done. But the basic platinum was a little over $20000 parts and labor all in. Then it was another $6000 plus to get the turbo's done and a zillion other tiny little charges for odds and ends that allow you to spend the extra to get one more year of warranty with tow protection that brings you into the neighborhood just under $30000. And then I think I got to pay near $4000 in taxes.!!!
This gave me 4 year unlimited mileage warranty on just about everything. This sounded like a good idea at the time because I do high miles at heavy weights, and if anyone will capitalize on this warranty it should be me. Everything is more expensive in Canada.

    Great time

Far_Call, I have OR4893 injectors in my 5EK engine. I have not had any problems with this injectors but I do know there running on default trims 1100. I had a 5DS(601) file put in and a stage 1 turbo. Should I have the original trims put in to get the best flow from them or what would you suggest without giving away your little black book secrets ? BTW, I can't have excessive smoke due to CARB :biggrin_25510:

Only way is to remove them and re-Calibrate them.

I have heard of the McBee work in progress and new tips at that.. from my reports they are very good but I have yet to have one in my hands. I know nothing about a Complete Injector by McBee.

    Buckshot7cz Thanks this.
