Does anyone know how to troubleshoot a webasto heater? Mine doesn't work and 3 shops have essentially refused to help. Crsco sent me to freightliner, who didn't fix it, then another freightliner clearly didn't know anything about it. It was 42° in my bunk this morning when I was awakened and had to start idling, and its only gonna get worse.

We just use the Opti-Idle... Good luck! When we tried to use the bunk heater, we had to have the ignition in the off position, and with our other stuff (frig, cooler, lights) we didn't want to not have the Opti-Idle on.

I usually don't kick the opti idle on until its to cold to sleep (42° this morning). I have a refrig a Coleman cooler, and an inverter and my batteries last fine through 12+ hours. I'm just tired of burning all that fuel when the bunk heater would be a lot cheaper.

If I pull out my sleeping bag I'm gonna be delivering late when I don't want to get out of it in the morning. I'm paying for a bunk heater; I want to use the thing!

btw it was 42 IN my truck. It was in the 20's outside.

    Arkansas Frost Thanks this.

Ugg given a crappy 32 mile load. I get to 99 early and they turn me away. So I go to a truck stop 10 miles away to get a shower and waste 4hrs. Apparently tapping another truck backing in. There is like a 2 inch dent in the other trucks drive fender and no damage to the trailer. I'm thinking I did not hit you what are you talking about, but I'll file the report. 10 min after I send it in the driver walks over and says,"You know that is not a big dent and honestly I'm not sure you hit me. I just herd a thunk and saw it when I got out, but after you backed in I heard your trailer make that noise again, so lets just drop it." I call into safety today and tell them that the other driver changed his mind and is not positive I hit him and to drop it, and they tell me "Whatever, either way it's going on your record." What the heck the guy practically said he lied and was not sure I did the damage, there was no damage to the trailer and I'm getting an accident on my record. I didn't even want the dumb load I was doing them a favor. Great to see how thankful they are. Sorry rant over. Moral of the story small dent pay the driver off and keep central out of it?

If the other driver says he's not sure it was you it's because it wasn't. What driver has his truck damaged by a big company and doesn't take his check?

argue it with someone higher up. The last thing you need is a preventable, especially as a trainer.

you better check your dac report in a few months cause i can gurantee it will be on there . they put a accident on mine that i never had. i hooked to a droped thailer in the dock at champlaign kraft one day as i was pulling out the trailer door fell off but it was my fault since i hooked to it i was told. now realize this i was not the one who put it in the door it was krafts yard dog or another central driver who droped it. what happened is they slamed the thing in the door and broke the hinges when i pull out with it wham accident for me.
