    Trips and Stats.


    This weeks settlement was low due to a 2 day layover in Laredo. Miles on this week's settlement sheet:1,978.

    I got a load out on Tuesday morning that delivered to Louisville, KY, paid miles: 1,218. I had a pre-plan that picked up in Louisville, with an additional stop that finaled in Taylor, MI, but the empty I picked up at the receiver had a problem with the brakes, so that load went up in smoke.





    I'm bothered greatly by the news of the shooting at the elementary school in Sandy Hook, CT. That school is located about 20 minutes from where we used to live.








    I pray that our Heavenly Father will comfort the families affected by this tragedy.

    I too spent time in Conn. Growing up and going to elementary
    school not very far from Newtown. Very sad news.

    So sad what happened and so sad so close to ''home'' for you. I hope all is well with you.

    Are you going to be able to get home for Christmas? I know you got home for Thanksgiving ( a bit late....) and how is Snowball now? is she fixed? You seem to be moving a bit more west now a days? Any more NE runs? Remember if you around our way the coffee will always be hot and ready! Or a steak!:biggrin_25514:

    Just a quick post.


    I'm in Columbus, OH with a mid-morning delivery scheduled for 0900. I have a pre-plan that will pick up here in Columbus at noon and drop in Hogansville, GA on Friday.


    I'll catch up tomorrow. Keep an eye on the weather everybody.

    We just dropped in NJ and grabbed a load to
