Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

but we get questions from all angles, i am sure you know this
i dont know if anyone can properly interpret that green book, we just had a great one about windsmith being off duty, and i am not sure if that situation was resolved, because when you are off duty, you are supposed to be off duty, does a traffic stop constitute a break where he would have to restart his 10hr clock
plus the thousand other questions, and i am serious, you should get paid because i know this is not easy -

Hi troop, can you help me. My husband just started working for a new company, and he has been OTR for a month and unable to send his logs in since he hasn't be through a terminal. They are now threating to hold his paycheck until he turns them in, is that legal??? Please help!!

The question about a DOT inspection while a person is off-duty/driving needs interpretation from FMCSA, or from court action, or both. -
why not certified mail them?
-
He is required to turn them in no more than 14 days from current day.

they told us to just bring them in when we came through town, so everytime he is in town he drops them off. But they didn't provide us with any envelopes, trippak info nothing. Plus that gets expensive!!
-
he knows that and turns them in when they get him back to town, but can they legally hold his pay??? Moving forward we know that we need to make sure we do our part to get them into the terminal, we didn't realize it was an issue (since they told us to do it this way)

If you go to walmart, you can get a HP 1056 printer/scanner. He can scan them into a PDF file and email them in.
This is what I have in my truck.

They are STILL legal to do that. an Electronic copy is more that complying with the regs.
I do it once a week at least for my carrier.Wiseguywireless Thanks this.
