Fueled up next to a SNI driver today....he had an orange Cascadia....said his truck would idle once he either stepped on the clutch OR the accelerator when the engine shut-down light started flashing. Only added that he really had to hit either one pretty firmly, not just "tap" it.

Female Driver...best of luck to you. Looking forward to hearing how it goes o'er yonder.

Deadheading me from Bakersfield to LA must mean they have no driver capacity around LA... Easy climb up the grapevine :p

I was cold last night the wind was blowing 40+ and found every crack/weak spot to blow some cold air in. The truck was sluggish to start and took 30 minuets to warm it up for heat which I had to sit there and keep it from cutting off. The bunk heater shuts off as soon as the key is turned on so that was a long cold 30 minuets. I actually spoke with my DBL and told him I won't do a restart on the road with this thing so I'm going home weekly now. On the flip side don't need a fridge now just put your stuff on the floor and its ice cold!

Mine wouldn't idle in 16 degrees. Never tried it when I drove through Wyoming a couple days ago when it was -14 though.

The guy in Gary told me that the sensors can vary +/- 5 degrees on the outside temperature. So in reality you could end up with a sensor that reads 15-75 and still not be able to idle because the sensor things ours between 20-70.

Well with my bunk heater cranked on high last night I finally hit the low voltage mark.
