What settings do you have in preferences/route.
Rand has setting for the weigh stations but not rest areas. Unless they changed the resource file and put both on the same warning.
You have to set hidden files/folders to on.
C:\users (your name)\appdata\local\RNDDock\Cache
To take the operating files back to prior versions/dates you could not due. The Files are over-written when they update and the lastest files are kept in the ComponentCache folder that were downloaded from the server.
What you could do is delete the ComponentCache folder and then update again from the Dock. It will re-download the files from the server again on your C:\ and then "update" your TND again.

Under Preferences Route:
Truck ETA Adjustment should be Decrease ETA Some, however I'm finding that it resets to the default, ETA OK
Recalculation: Auto
Route: Most of the time I'll use Fastest, but will change that from time to time
Tollways: Allow
Freeways: Allow
U-Turns: Avoid
Ferries: Avoid
States/Provinces to Avoid: Ignore this one, have no use for it
Cross Country Borders: Allow (no real need for this one too)
Dirt Roads: Avoid. Have always had this setting from the get-go.
Tunnels: Allow
Avoid List: I don't have any.
Fast Recalc; On -
I did put in an internal ticket to have them look at the data set.
Thanks,

Just FYI getting the same weigh station/dirt road issues as the previous guy on my 510. No matter what the interstate it seems to think there's a weigh station coming about every 10 miles and the dirt road warning comes up at the very end of route calculation every 7-8 trips planned.
I don't have the computer knowledge he does so I just turned off yhe weigh station warning. Problem solved.
The thing freezes repeatedly and often and usually at the worst possible moments. Almost always any time I chose my own route as opposed to the route it gives. Almost like she's being spiteful just because I didn't go the way she told me to so she jyst decides to quit working. How dare I know how to read a map and think for myself lol.
I do turn it off every day as I had seen stated on here in an earlier post regarding this issue but it still freezes. Regularly. -
My 720 sometimes thinks I'm one of dem-dar SuperTruckers, at least by the looks of this pic I took of the dashboard yesterday.....It's done this a few times since I've had it. No other peculiarities to report, though. I guess at 5'6" and 250 pounds, I just LOOK fast.....

Yeah my 710 looked the same way before it turned into a useless paperweight. Had me with a max speed of 115. Somebody must have borrowed my 63 mph truck one day while I was home. Sure wish I knew how they got it to run that fast lol.
