Man this northeast stuff sucks. Called my fm this morning when i got to my customer to see if she cud get me sumn going back west so id be closer to home for when the time comes to go on home time. So after i get unloaded i sot for 2 hours waiting for a pre plan then it picks up in jersey in 3 hours but im in northern Connecticut almost 5 hours away from were it picked up. So that got canceled on me. Then i sit for another hour an got to go to Springfield ma to pick up a relay. An head to natick ma for 0800 tomorrow an drop 12 pallets at a lil store in a strip mall lol. Then to Avon ma for my final stop of 3 pallets at 10:45. So im parked at a walmart a mile from my first stop. Cudnt find anywhere else to park. Asked the manager cuz when i pulled in i seen a sign that said no overnight parking but they were nice enough to give me permission to stay the night. Man id never thought id say this but i miss Wisconsin lol

Loves I-55 xt58 MO. In my favorite spot. I really like this xt as the big three are here so I never worry about parking no matter what time it is and they are all large stops too.

 

I was suppose to deliver tonight at 1830 called in to see about appt. Do too the mandatory shut down i was down in TX and this load delivers into Chicago didnt think i would make it. Found out receiving is from 0800 to 1300. Why would load assignment say 1830 when that's 5 hours after they receive. I hear ya DirtyD about the mess up's. If i hadn't called i would have shown up in Chicago just to be turned away. So here i sit at the Love's on I57 x308. Not very crowed at all for being so close to Chicagoand so late at night.

 

In Ghent, waiting to get loaded. Gonna run out if time if I tarp here. Called the local Walmart down the road and asked if I could park overnight. Guy told me it was ok. So at least ill have a place to go and get something to eat.

 

If i go to bed now i may get 4 hours of sleep before i head out to make it to my pickup on time. Debateing is is better to tuff it out and go no sleep or get a lack luster 4 hours.

 

Always best to get something. Come 3-4 am it catches up to you.
