unless you have a cdma iphone5. then no go even on 4g.

and i'll have to disagree about V having the btter coverage. i've had both and it's been the same. just in different areas.

i think the best option would be to have a sprint phone. since the plans are much cheaper. and have a V hotspot with only 2 gigs per month. you'll still come out cheaper and have the best coverage you can get VS. sticking with V only. paying more for partial coverage.

if you can't access sprint. then you can piggyback your phone using your V hotspot for phone calls. and internet.

when my contract expires. i'll be keeping my phone just for that purpose. and going back to sprint.

Not true. Im on verizon using a samsung galaxy 3. I use the internet and talk at the same time all the time on 4g. Lte and cdma are two different frequency bands. Using two different antenna in the phone. I swear ive been on 3g and talked and surfed at the same time even though I thought that was not possible on cdma. But I did it. Lol.

Well you should know what Phone I have...
I have Verizon which uses CDMA.
I can talk/surf all day long provided I'm on 4gLTE.

But you can keep thinking that.

I use at least 10 GB a month, my father rides with me and he is on it ALOT. He get on Facebook and Myspace alot, looking at alot of pics. But if you dont look at alot of pics and just text then you MIGHT be okay with 2 GB

JAckthe wack: I was in a Verizon store today. You negelected to mention that there is a $20.00 a month fee for that Jetpack ontop of the usage! So it is $50.00 a month.

The Verizon Jetpack 4G LTE 4620LE about the size of a credit card but thicker works fantastic. I pay around $50 mth on contract which in all seriousness is cheaper than they used to be when they had the aircard made by Merlin, that worked with the older laptops. It's been a few years but as I recall, the monthly was as much as $80.
The nice thing about Verizon's gizmo is you can boost the signal if you're in the middle of nowhere by connecting up an external antenna made by Wilson Electronics.
But for the most part, you will get a good connection with excellent speed. You just need to keep it powered up from time to time. You can have up to five devices working off it at any time

    Good luck

but if your phone can handle up to 10 devices. and is already internet equipped. why would you go with an air card? your just spending extra money needlessly.
