Stay Away from Conway Truckload!!

And to you, Average Trucker. Since its now the beginning of the new year, lets see a printout of your year to date total earnings for 2012.

 

My year to date from Feb of last year into march was gross 42000.. that's not bad for not even two years of driving

 

Need to wait until I get home, but I grossed $23,000 since July which is when I started.

And if you are concerned enough to try to "help" us, why are you giving me such a hard time? Am I the enemy for being happy? Sounds like a typical Democrat to me. God forbid you should work hard and be happy where you're at. That is the worst thing someone could ask for.

I could work construction and make almost twice as much money, and be unhappy about what I'm doing, work 4 times harder, take a toll on my body so I won't be able to play with my children. That sounds way better. Wear your body out for money. And do you think there would be so many people rushing to trucking if those other higher paying jobs were easy to get? No union wants to hire you in FL or GA at lease without prior experience. Why are you so threatened by how much I make, and how much I love Con-Way?

Grossed over 58k in 2012....1st year with Conway Truckload....just had my vacation ...pay was $1077
cant wait for two weeks paid in 2013!!

 

Ppl don't get it.. its not all about money I love what I do so I can care less how much I make long as I'm happy

 

You must be really happy not to care what you make.Sure in trucking you have to love driving in order to succeed but think about it,trucking is onestep above poverty wages.What we make some weeks is what high school kids make.

 

I don't know any hs kid that makes 1000 after taxes

 

I suppose that I could say something like; "Well, anybody with low self esteem issues tends to take anything that is given to them, even if they are being totally taken advantage of, including voting republican". Or, I could say, "the unions in both FL or GA will hire you as an apprentice with starting pay (hrly. wage, health insurance, fully paid pension AND annuity), way above an experienced truckers' pay with Conway". Yes, I could truthfully say these things. And I am. If youre happy with your job, more power to you. But to all the others that would like to actually earn more than the poverty level wages that all the large trucking companies are paying, there IS hope.
