I don't know about them being a 'New Breed'. When I started my driving career in 98, these same guys were out there. But it will say that there was alot more conversation going on and alot more guys helping each other out. If my truck was parked on the side of the road, I would get several hails on the CB to make sure I was ok. Now it seems the only thing you hear on 19 is ,'AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDIO, AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDIO' or somebody whistling into the mike. It seemed like businesses were alot more friendly to us too.

Being out here 11 years and around trucking my entire life, yeah, things have changed. And it's not just the "new breed". How about the veterans that have been out there that feel entitled to everything, or don't care about anything. It's not the new drivers. It's the guys who've been out here. You guys have the same smartphones. The same satellite radios. You guys have some bad attitudes where its me against the world. If you guys (me included) aren't teaching the "new breed" the right way, who will? You learned from the old hands who were willing to show you. It's called "pay it forward". Try it sometime and you'll be amazed by the results.
