No sir! Not at all! You get what you get, and you take what you can. A lot of the loads are 600-700 miles. The long loads are given to teams and trainers. I got lucky with that $1400+ check. Had a 2250 mile load, 2200 mile load and a 700 mile load that landed on that check. That is not at all common.

No, its what loads they have is what you get unless your on a dedicated route. That was why they posted "it all depends". They can't hand you a long haul if there isnt a long haul in your area now can they?

That's because you were lucky enough to be operating out of major cities. More areas for more freight going a long distance.
