My credit isn't great and they hired me.....

 

I'm on my third upgraded phone with AT&T and still have my unlimited plan. I take the discount and sign on for another 2 years to get the phones for free and never once did my data plan get questioned. The only time they said I was going to use it was when I called about using my phone as a hot spot for my laptop. Then I would pay the extra charge and loose my unlimited plan. Oh my wife also has the unlimited plan and we both upgrade our phones every year.

 

Question folks,

I have my orientation starting Mon. I had my phys today but did not take my CPAP readout with me so I have to go back tomorrow. I don't use my CPAP as I should so there will not be much data on the readout. Yes I know I should use it but it is by laziness that I don't. I can't get used to it and therefore don't use it, but have started again. I have a DOT card that does not expire til Nov but it does not have the CPAP on it, my last employer did not require it.

My question is, how will this affect my orientation/job with Schneider? Just looking for some suggestions or experiences. Thanks

 

They will be sending you to get a new DOT Med card if yours is expired or close to it. Mine was still good for another year when I applied and i had to get a new one. They may also send you for a sleep study. If you need CPAP you should be using it. Once employed you will either use it or you will end up walking.

Yes I should be using it and yes am starting to use it. My Med card does not expire until. Nov 2013. I guess maybe I shouldn't have said anything during the Medical questions from Schneider themselves but I didn't want it biting me later. I had a sleep study several yrs ago and that is when I was told I needed it.

 

My medical card didn't expire until Oct 2014 and Schneider had me take another physical. No biggie since they covered the cost. I start my orientation next Tuesday in Fontana!! I'm stoked!

 

My orientation is in Edwardsville, Il and I am excited as well. Hopefully everything will turn out tomorrow with the rest of my phys and I can get on my way to my new career.

 

I turned my truck in today I scheduled a PM for it so when I dropped it off I would take it right to the shop. I wrote the truck up for all its little issues so hopefully it's all fixed for the next driver. The mechanic even commented how clean the truck was and it smelled good too LOL So who ever gets 61406 you should be good to go and burn some miles good luck and god speed.

 

Where do we get our W2 from at SNI?

 

you can print it out from adp where you look up your pay statement, click on annual statements instead of pay statements.
