My husband is going through it right now. If they accept you, you go through orientation, then out with a trainer for 2 weeks at .22 a mile. After 2 weeks, with the trainer's approval, you become a company driver. They told Blaine .30 per mile for 90 days then he can move into a Lease purchase if he wants.

He drove for 10 years, then stopped in 2005. He did a two week refresher course with CRST in June and has been driving since then. Just moved over from JCT and is sooooo glad he did.

BigKid2, or anyone working as Lease opp at ACT. I'm thinking about coming over but i was wondering if they give you enough miles per week to make it worth while. i RUN hard and am not happy with less than 3000 miles per week, more is better. ill run any where any time as long as my logbook allows. do they have alot of drop n hook? are most deliveries appointments or can you deliver early? any info would be helpful.

Just starting out I don't really think you will be getting 3000 miles a week every week. I do pretty close to that when I am out all week but I know our system pretty well and I know what areas to try to stay away from.
