There are 2 answers on here:
Every other time I took the test the correct answer is "Release the brake when you are 5 mph below your safe speed."
Every other time I took the test the correct answer is "Use a low gear and apply light pressure on the brakes."
This is from this TTR wesite. I recommend everyone, experienced or inexperienced take the 10 question air brake test several times.losttrucker and pattyj Thank this. -

I always change that number; check my history of posts and you will see that.
When you get to Greenville PM me!! As a fellow ECU Alum I'd be estatic to have a sit down with you. As far as "proving" your driving history; no need as this debate is going around in circles.
As far as calling you ignorant or a liar; never said that!! Never directed ANY post towards you until YOU felt the need to try and use your "superiority" with your years of experience over mine:
In almost every single post you make you ramble about how much experience you have and your awards and blah blah blah.............
Gotta get the boat ready; gonna be a great day fishing!!! I aint waiting for your reply!! -
One truism in life is that most people feels as if they are normal. As such an honest person will generally believe others are honest until proven different, on the other hand a dishonest person will feel most others are also dishonest.
If your immediate assumption is that others stats listed are BS, I would have to suspect you fall into the later group. Personally I have no reason to doubt someone who says he has 33 years of driving experience. He assumed others were also telling the truth when he used their stats. That indicates an honest person, he accepted their stated stats as real. -
Stab breaking with tankers, too?

Not stab braking but snub braking.
What i do with tankers,if they slush a lot,is to be in a lower gear.
Lets say you take a grade in a flatbed in 7° gear..............with a tanker i would be in 6° or 5° gear.
So you use hardly any brake.
You need that extra margin with a tanker in case off emergency.LaBubba Thanks this.
