I knew you'd chime in, final is in ME, unless chunky deadhead to Ayer paper place is fine with me. I was thinking Sappi Fine along the river or Walmart DC in auburn which I doubt. There's another paper place in south Portland in a industrial district. As long as I avoid going thru NYC, prob a load to jersey I hope not ugh...

Yeah, last one I got at Sappi up there way north of Portland. Can't remember town, but took it to Memphis. That was a nice one, and got routing changed on it too. Straight across 84 instead of down 95. When Jim heard GW, and I wasn't going into NYC, he changed it right away.

There is nothing wrong with freight, there is something wrong with ROEHL'S freight. This weekend will be my first layover of the year. I was running out west in January and didn't have one day of downtime, unless it was for hours or maintenance (which I was out of hours anyway so no biggie.) I am back in the Midwest.... Mostly 450-500 mile runs this week and 550 Saturday run for Monday delivery.... :biggrin_25513:

Hey, didn't think we would see YOU again. You dropped off for a bit there.

They save most of the nice long runs for the new guys and the trainers, after your here a while it's a steady diet of 400 mile runs, load every day and repeat.

So that brings me to a sore point.... Everyone see there last quarter results? Anyone improve last quarter and get a raise? I ask because I have a sinking feeling that the Flatbed side is getting screwed in this new pay plan. We keep hearing the "slow freight" argument on our side. What is the Van side saying/getting? I dropped two levels from the previous quarter (I probably would have dropped one, but I had to take an extra week off for personal and I take the blame for that) The excuse I got was freight was slow. I take every load they give me (don't have a choice really) and I still dropped? That is wrong!

I also heard that ALL drivers are on the same scale. So Van drivers are competing with Curtainside and Flatbed. 3 different fleets with 3 different dispatch requirements, but we are all in the same pool??? Just ranting, but I still feel this is wrong!

Anyone else want to give their personal feelings on it? Just want to know if I am getting the shaft from FM or is it the same across the board. For comparisons, I went from a 6 to a 4. Missed 5 by less than 1000 points so that is why I say it's my fault with the missing week.

So, can you drop below the level you were at before it was implemented? Or your "hire in" rate? No one really has ever clarified that for me.

    Bigdubber Thanks this.

I honestly have no idea how new pay thing works at all. Never got the class even though I kept saying for nearly two months I need to get to a terminal 'with time' to get it. I have no complaints about miles on my end.

At citgo t/s I-64 xt 136 VA. Wanted to go in tomorrow a day early, is scheduled 06:00 tue, but was told have to sit on it. So I will get a reset I guess and layover. Barely qualify I'm exactly 50 miles away.
