I have the same question as another poster who really got no answer so we'll try again. I'm looking at the C & S acct. in Windsor Locks, CT... I'm curious what the orientation is like... How long... How much pay... what do they put you through... I never had to do orientation with any company like this... Thanx... ^raVen^

Its your normal 3 day orientation. Put you up at the Motel 6 Studio hotel about .25 mile from terminal. They cover breakfast and lunch. Day 1 is drug testing, physical and paperwork. Then rest is driving test and backing between 2 trailers, then more paperwork. Day 3 is basically nothing just waiting to be cleared by safety and most on way home by 1pm.

they pay minimum wage hourly for orientation. the account you are interested in is a dcs account. You would need a 4th day for close quarter backing. I will tell you that if you are not a skilled driver then this is not the account for you. They do multiple stops in all 5 buroughs

Went through east brunswick last year it wasn't bad make sure you have hair they do hair and urine drug tests there will be dot and company physicals depending on your account ther will be different levels for different accounts and don't.make a right turn on red during your checkride make sure you buckle up even in the yard backing walk around your truck and blow your horn before backing I think orientation pay is 7.25 an hour .

I hauled for C+S from '94'-'99' ... I've done Maspeth... both stores.... Glendale, Brooklyn on Ave. Y... Bronx... with the 'L' right in front of the store... I just don't know that I'm up to all that aggravation again... plus I am a bit rusty being that I've been out of a truck for a year... It pretty much sucked then... Thanx for reminding me....
