The 88 was steady , pulling a grade , I think it was about 1400 RPM. I think I saw the 93 , for a second , but the laptop was on the passenger seat , and I have to kinda squint to see the numbers .
I didn't look , but for just a second , twice , to make sure I was reading the correct parameter , but then I shut the computer down , satisfied I'd gotten my boost problem fixed.

Even at 88 its kinda seems high to me, interesting - why don't you RECORD like 5 minutes of hard pull to a file, its simple, I'd love to see that

Gregor ,look at the pipes ,coming from your turbo .going towards the front , where your air cooler is .
There should be a metal pipe , then a rubber boot , then another metal pipe , then another rubber boot , which connects to the plastic intake to the actual charge air cooler.
Walk around to the other side , the drivers side , and you should see the same thing. Those 4 rubber boots can develope leaks , even if the clamps are tight.
That's where you do the Soapy Water test .
Get a spray bottle , like an empty Windex bottle , put a couple of drops of dish washing soap in it , and fill it up with water.
While your truck is sitting , use the cruise control switch to bump the engine speed up as far as you can , probably 1400 RPMs , then spray your soapy water all over those rubber boots , all the way around , especially the ends , where they connect to another part. Spray what you can reach , of your Charge Air Cooler , too . But especially the boots .
If you see any bubbles , that's where you're loosing Boost.
A bubble , doing this , means you're loosing Lots of pressure , when you're going down the road , especially pulling a hill.
I found one leak , fixed it , ( temperairlly ) and my boost went from 27 , to over 40.
If you find a leak at a boot , best thing you can do , is replace the boot , and both clamps !
Run it , let it cool down , and re-tighten the clamps .

Land BTW , where are you from ?

    gregor Thanks this.
