You almost sound like you've been a farm hand at some point. LOL. I've worked around cotton farms to logging, back to farming, then selling and servicing farm equipment, and then out on the road. I get the point of insulated gloves, and I know folks are partial to them, I just find that a plain old leather work glove can't be beat. If you get the right size for your hands, there's not a better piece of clothing I wear than those gloves.

Have always liked the simple jersey gloves. Not near the protection as leather . But easy on and off . Carry a pair in front pocket at all times. Never without. Keep a 6 pack on truck .

Look behind the seat, sometimes I lose my gloves there.

I just like, and use the insulated ones in the really cold northern states in winter. Otherwise I use the regular ones. I also understand what you mean.

You should have a separate pair of rubber gloves for fueling. Having your hands soaking in fuel all day, can,t be good. FleetFarm has a large selection of gloves, get a glove with a padded palm and fingers. After years of driving your hands, wrist, forearms, elbows and shoulders will thank you.

Finding gloves that fit big hands is a problem. The gloves most places sell, even in XL sizes aren't big enough.

SOMETIMES Harbor Freight has some knock off 'mechanics' type gloves for $10 that come in XXL, but they haven't had them the last few times I looked. They're not fuel proof....if you're getting that much fuel on your hands you're doing something wrong.

You can try Amazon.com and do a search for XXXL work gloves. They have some, not cheap.
