Lol been there done that. That actually wasn't as bad as scoring an A/C truck back in the day only to find out it didn't work..

Lol.. Used to get my pick of 1995 Ford sleepers to head out for some p&d. When I was on the night flex I would get my choice of city unit to head across 80 in the Keystone.. Ahh the memories..lol..

    It gets better man.

I had that before, usually a monday I would get one with A/C in it. Current job now its in our contract that ALL trucks have a working A/C or they are OOS

Had one of our BRAND NEW Volvos today... gotta say CWF has it better with the Cascadias. Although this is a smooth riding truck, plenty of power, still just a base model NO radio. Where as the cascadias at CWF have XM, a lot more options etc... HEck it doesnt even have an exhaust brake in it, i heard they are "built in" to work automatically but I didnt see a differnce. HEck our old schoo trucks all have them, some work some dont

Well I better update now as it was a few months ago what I put on here what I did.

STill at YRC but out of a Distribution center now. I currently do Line-haul all over the northeast and parts of the west. Only been on it for a month now but like it better then P/D especially doing it in the metro area. I was on layoff and by going here I could go back to work.

Pretty much i go in, trucks al hooked and ready to go, just gotta do my PTI and paper work. Go to where ever, then either I just swap out trucks if its a bulk break terminal, or I drop/hook other trailers. I kinda like that better and keep the same truck because I already know its quirks. But sometimes its nice that if I dont like one I get to have another one later on.

We do go to rail yards as well. Ive been to quite a few.
