Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Surprise surprise -- the dealer hasn't even had a chance to look at the truck yet. Thankfully I'm only 40 miles from my folks so I'll get in an inpromptu visit.

At least I was productive and have my taxes ready to file...

Its been a great time here with con-way truckload! once my truck is out of shop. im requesting hometime and will be turning my truck into joplin.

 

Joplin Mo.Going in 24 hours, simply waiting to get truck into shop.The best part is going to be, just like last time, that it will need to go to dealer.Again my time is meaningless.Oh yeah, away from home, not making a dime.

 

Oh yeah, another night, or morning as it be, waking up freezing.Brand new truck, new batteries. Cant idle truck to charge batteries, throwing fridge out, since i have to choose heat over food. cant affird to eat in truck stops.bunk heater rarely stays on all night.great idea, not to equip trucks with apuI wish others up the food chain could live this glamorous high paying lifestyle.May is coming, warmer weather, and greener pastures.

 

Ethics, its preached, plastered on walls, got there "lean" programs, yet its all on the back of the driver.How safe is it to have to keep waking up to charge batteries to keep the heat on.Ridiculous

 

It's funny how many 4 wheel drive vehicles you see in HQ parking lot.So 4wd is a priority in some folks personal life.But since there is a board to answer to, and pennies to save.The expectations from literally the other side of the fence are far different.In cost saving effort, the main building, shop offices, outside terminals should have hvac turned off between 35 and 70 degrees.

 

Oh I hear ya mustang they are trying to save every penny but drivers are being unhappy at same time. They need a new budget to do cuz if it keeps coming down like this they will run away a lot of drivers. To think about it after I hit my year here my miles dropped a lot here. But I got another company workin on my app should be going to work for them on the 18th

 

Are you from Sacramento ? If I had to choose that's where I'd rather brake down ,it's where my folks live too, I grew up in Antelope LOL

 

well glad to hear Im not the only one with truck issues..no pun intended of course...Im still at the motel....LOL....My personal vehicle I wont buy nothing else but 4 x 4...I have not had to shut my 4WD down yet.....but this tag axle n super slickers...yes of course many times over...LOL....I ready to get my guitar n tin cup out for a few gigs...LOL

 

well the truck is delayed getting my part hear to replace a sensor. But they said if its not here in an hour they will take it off another truck for me and put it in mine. so that they can get me rolling.
