Here are a few pics of the main terminal facilities, at the Millennium Center.

 

There is a Walmart dedicated near Chattanooga, on the TN side. I am very tempted to take it. Here are some more pics.

Not a recruiter, was taking pics for my wife, figured I would share them with you guys. The place feels kinda like an airport pavilion or day spa, not so much like a terminal.

I plan on doing a pictorial of Campus too so you can see where you'll be for a few days (if in orientation), or longer if in the CDL class.

I'll put up a pic of my room here in a sec.



Campus is not nearly as nice as Millenium.

 

Ok, so the benefits package is ok.

The dental is about average, the term life/AD&D is above average (cost versus payout), the vision is great, but the group medical is bogus, just way too expensive (for my situation). They have alternatives; an Aflac affiliate agent is on site, though I haven't had a chance to talk to her yet. Prolly gonna go with the duck for that interim pay if I get downtime from med issues.

I was impressed with their gap insurance though. It kicks in automatically, and runs term until you qualify for the group med, so you have uninterrupted coverage and don't have to pay for cobra if you had it from another job.

They have an on site accounting and tax service, but I can't comment on their worth.

They also have reps on site for each brand of equipment they use, like the reefer units and stuff, to help you with issues and troubleshooting.

Of the dozen or so people who came when I did, only four washed out. One on medical, one on piss quiz, and two failed the road test (three tries on the sim, once in a real truck).
