Pssst. Don't tell anyone but in 97 when I ran teams at USX 6k was a average week and was close to B squad level ( teams that really run super solo) Now they got you droned into believing that is excellent. You see back then they did not put all that good cross country frt on the rails. That's right they actually had drivers running that frt that goes to all those railyards.

Dude shut up, not everyone had a hard time there, and no I went there with experience. I did five trailers a week and got home weekly. At 1100 to 1400 average sounds like pretty good gig. The only reason I left was to start my business, so don't try to throw your bad experiences on everyone else.

I'm kind of with this guy, everyone likes to piss and moan about how the big guys are so bad. Maybe it's just that trucking is difficult, and not every situation is cut out for every driver.

Who said I had a hard time? I worked there almost 7 years. There still a chocolate turd of a company.

1100 to 1300, or 1100 to 1400 ah no big, who is counting anyway? I only made $1115.46 a week last year but who really knows how much they make? I mean you don't really need a realistic number when your blowin the sunshine.

By the way, this is the bad experience (company) forum. And you and I both know that 80% of the company drivers at USX are not going to average even close to a grand a week.

You're right. They won't because most of them don't know how.

Went to US Express's Home Terminal, sat down with several Managers...discussed leasing my companies vehicles to US Express ....
....A lot of impressive info, a well planned sales display and numbers presented by them, but basically came down to actual dollar amount that I would be paid in exchange to haul US Express freight utilizing my company's vehicles to haul their freight.....with US Express's trailers( read mostly drop and hook) .

Basically the Managers have it figured out (once I got through all the smoke and nonsense)
that the average minimum pay is approximately $1.49/mile( AT MINIMUM).

I've been driving as part of a team for USX for 3 mos. now. We do make a grand a week apiece most of the time. Going home once a mo. screws it up, tho.

Can you prove this with actual documents showing these dollar amounts?

    Surfer Joe Thanks this.
