I am here. Just got in yesterday and sitting at a Pilot. I have a delivery this morning and pick up a load at the same location. From there I'll head back to northern CA. Things seems to have started moving a bit as I'm not waiting for loads right now.

Mrh, you need to get with someone about your ranking. I'm sitting at Gold and my buddy, who started solo ten days after I did, is already at Platinum!! I think he's got less than 40k miles. How many miles do you have to get to get a bonus? I don't see where I've gotten one although I'm guessing I don't qualify until next quarter.

The deal with my steer tire has gone into a black hole to never be addressed again. I'll have to stop in Lathrop and talk to the tire guy there. I'm betting he'll take 15 minutes and replace it. He said he worked at Les Schwab's for a long time and his work ethic shows it. I thought he'd just got out of the military with the way he takes care of things. He does a great job.

My PC is incident is over with and I signed the papers yesterday. The folks at Sumner made a lot bigger deal out of it than my DL. Ya, I caught some paper over it, first time in my life for this. Hurts my pride but didn't kill me.

You're doing good Sheriff, sorry you're so stuck on the West Coast all the time. I made it through RDTC and Roehl phase 2 and I am out on my own now with Roehl. Gleaned a lot of good info and encouragement from your Swift Thread. Backing right now seems to be my biggest challenge although I've made all my docs OK. I am not scared to GOAL. Speaking of that I got to a cons early the other day and parked next to a Swift Driver from Ocala SP? He was a really nice older guy and I was talking to him about backing. He told me that the Ocala Terminal had like 46 backing accidents in 46 days and that they have to send a QC message "G.O.A.L." prior to doing their backs. Man, its those little things like backs and tight spots like the roundabouts that can sting you. I got sent down through a small town that had a newer roundabout and I just went really slow. Impossible to stay in your lane in the one I went through, I just made sure no one was behind me and that I stayed inbetween the curbs. Keep up the good work and if you ever get into the midwest maybe I meet you sometime.

Bonus is paid out in a lump sum at the end of the quarter sheriff.

they hosed you like that to save a five-thousandths of a cent per mile or is that a typo. Not trying to be a spelling teacher just want to be sure I'm getting that right. $.005?

Half of 1 penny is what they are saving. Isn't $.005 1/2 cent? I could be wrong... Makes sense to me! :biggrin_2559:

But, if they do that to 1000 drivers, that saves the $5 a mile!
