P&d is definetly a different animal would take me a couple days too. Id be lost. Line haul is pretty simple. Go to point A to B. Easy money!

Geez sounds like craziness on your first trip. I had to do a training trip for Rocky sets. Did triples one night without any prior training and never pulled them before that was fun!

Yeah it was crazy. One of those days where everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

Triples are fun. I used to pull them back in the day at CF. Only thing I don't like about triples are going 10 mph up a hill. I never tried the rocky sets but then again I doubt I ever would since I never get up that way. How are they compared to triples?

They are a lot more stable then double pups and definetly more stable then triples. Cause of the long box harder to get the pup to sway unlike triples where the back box does what it wants. Just taking turns gotta be a little wider and can't bust a U like pups, got to take a full turn or you can pinch the trailers. All I run is rocky sets, here and there pups, once in awhile get a triple run.

I was thinking the turning might be a little harder. Sounds like they might even be better than doubles? That's nice to know in case I ever had to pull them. We had a guy down here pull them once. He went to Vegas and was supposed to go back home. Only he ended up in Colorado somewhere when it was all over. He was then routed through Texas, I think, and back to California.

I start at YRC Maybrook soon, apparently as a full time driver (whatever that means)

    Wondering what to expect...

Hope the work is steady. My bills sure are.
