NY Haz Mat Test

youtube has some videos on how to pass the test.Im doing it the old fashioned way and studying from the CDL manual.I have been for a couple months now.My hazmat expires April but can renew it now.So im going to try next week.Hopefully i pass the first time.

 

Keep using the practice tests... They are very similar to questions you will encounter on the actual test.

 

Just keep taking them . I took 2 or 3 a day for 4 days and was down to never getting more than 1 wrong . When I took the actual test it still had 4 questions I hadn't seen in the practice tests .

 

Don't just go to one site and keep retaking that test.There are many sites with different questions.Chances are when you do take the test,some of those questions you may not even heard of.I took some online test today and every test had completely different questions from another site I took it from.But I passed them all,I know quit bragging,lol.

Doesn't Landstar provide an online training course for Hazmat as they do for their TSA stuff?

Take the practice tests, when you hit 85% or better four or five times in a row, you should be ready.

I had my endorsement for a bunch of years and this year I will be renewing it again. The last time I took the test four years ago, I was so surprised I got all the questions correct. I wish they were more realisitic about the renewal process, it isn't like the state couldn't figure out if I have had a criminal conviction and I know it is all about the money to the TSA.
