@skinny I might as well be, I go there 2-3 times per week but that's our closest turn for a bulk break center, others are all lay overs. Plus guy above me wanted to go to Syracuse instead(thankfully) so I got the Harrisburg. Just hope they don't via me to the rail yard, makes a loooooong night.

@squonk feel better, I had that problem last week when I went to RI, although the supervisor didn't wanna hear it, it's ok I left him a present in the bathroom. Felt better going back, my dispatcher told me do what I can if I feel worse to call him

Well, how long can the drink water, squirt it out last? (sorry for the gross description, don't know how else to explain it). At least I'm not blowing chow anymore. Tummy still hurts just a little. Main thing is, I just got that 'sick feeling' awful bad. I think I have a fever. Anywho, I gotta drink water to fight dehydration. I know that's what's making me weak. Sorry for making a big deal out of this, I NEVER get sick. Haven't been sick since I had my tonsils out in '79. I've had food poisoning once, 15 years ago, that put me in the hospital. Didn't think this was food poisoning at first, just seemed different, but now, I think that's what it might be. Well, if things don't improve by this after, I'm headed to MedCheck.

the weirdest is the snow coming directly at you as if you are driving through the matrix. but it feels as if the truck is not moving

had a good day today, first went to the rail yard, had a REALLY REALLY sweet twin screw. it was weird it was numbered like a roadway truck and was a yellow. Plenty of power, rode nice even bob-tailing for 72 miles. Pulling the 30k van was good as well. Then i come back and got Brooklyn and my old terminal 150, did those too but took longer as the truck i was given was gutless, had problems coming back with a 6000 pound lead and empty kite.

didnt bring home that much this week. I only had a providen, manchester, one harrisburg and the day i ran out of hours... plus union dues. this week i only had 2 harrisburgs and the manchester, so will be less unfortuanately...

Really enjoying line-haul though even though i miss my weekends. Although my girl been coming up here, cant complain, shes comes over, when we're done she makes food then leaves. Today we had steak and some veggies. Its a lot nicer up here then it is back home though. hopefully start running hard soon so I can save and buy a house here, a lot of foreclosures around here.

I like the sub-turn work better than long-turn. You either get about the same or more miles, plus a lot of building and breaking sets down which makes up for it

@Cenutry i was by your old terminal earlier... shouldve left a note for mr g

it is the biggest pain ever... When I go to Harriburg its always a swap. If I got to Providence, Manchester, or any other small terminal I take the same truck back. If I do a sub turn as in returning to the terminal and going back out its a swap. If I go to one close terminal, then to a few others its the same truck. Thats just how the company works, trucks already hooked, ready to go.

Usually if your gonna be using the same truck all day 85% of the time its usually a good one. Normally the newer yellow twin screws with two seats get those as they dont want to get rid of them. We do have a T-3 unit which is used for triples if needed(not with us) that trucks awesome. Going to Harrisburg is normally a 50/50 chance youll get a good or bad one. It is a pain but if you get a bad truck though you can swap
