U.S. XPRESS..... Please look elsewhere for a job..

Either way the driver gets twisted, early arrival or late arrival. Something has got to give. I for one am shoring up my status as I don't want to be a company driver anymore. My own authority or bust !!!

 

Haha! You're funny. Communication? This is USXpress we're talkn about. IF (!!!) u can even get an answer, either on the phone or the box, they never know. Or the DM will tell u to just get there ASAP. Lack of communication & not even knowing what's going on is their biggest problem.

 

100% agree here bryleigh, i have been with them for a little over a year and oh how many times i have sat for hrs (or at one time a day and a half) because they didnt know i needed a pickup number. Or the famous "the load is ready get there ASAP" and you roll into a place that is closed and dont open till monday.

 

Exactly! And if u don't have a load that lasts over the wknd, forget it. I don't mean to b complaining TOO much, though. All in all, still making decent money.

 

Us xpress doesn't know what the right hand from the left is doing..always has been that & will always will....

I am seeing some post on another thread i posted on of people making 600-900 dollars a week and lots of miles and blah blah blah, did we get on someone #### list or something?

 

We run team & make $600 on a bad week, $1,000 on a good one. Usually just get on a really good pattern & home time screws it all up.

 

I ran teams, but i hated it. i have not left the north east except for HT in 7 months. And when i did they got mad at me because they had ran out 2 and 1/2 of my 70 and i could not make it to cali in 3 days.

 

Can't you turn down NY loads?

 

any driver can turn down NYC loads..... and they may get mad but you can turn down NY state just not upstate NY.... I always told them that if the truck goes over the GW it will not stop until it's in CT.....
