I am curious to know how he assumes that half the time he won't get it, when he doesn't even drive for Prime. :p

I am on the guarantee right now, $600 weekly, and it ads up my miles and fuel bonus and everything, and shows me what it is on my weekly payroll summary.

Granted, my actual mileage pay is not high enough to push me over to where the mpg bonus is noticeable until I go solo, but when I do, it will be a substantial addition.

Go ahead and get your fingerprints working. You need to wait and take the HazMat written test when you xfer your CDL to your homestate. That thing doesn't xfer. Having the Hazmat endorsement sometimes means getting a load when others are sitting.

From what I've read, Prime may run a little slower than some of the others, but they have made up for that in better pay and better working environment. I enjoy JB's posts and an looking forward to this whole process for myself. Thanks Bones.

IP...my bad...that post was worded poorly. I didn't mean to imply that Prime pressures students. Just that when the pressure is applied to get students to sign on to lease-operate...it happens at that juncture. When people finish the OTR training. Thanks for pointing that out. I have only read stellar things about Prime. People should start Prime employment with a clean slate and good faith...Prime will honor their contracts in good faith as well.
