What I saw at my local trailer dealer.

Ok....so describe what a ghetto person looks like .... And what an english challenged person looks like ...

I am not trying to start anything I just believe that judging someone on the way they may appear is just totally wrong...If we met in a boardroom or over some type of meeting and you walked away impressed how would you label me? A man, a business man, a fine upstanding citizen...now say you saw me at a dealership trading in my truck or purchasing something wearing shorts tank top tennis shoes with tattoos up and down my arm and across my chest.. Or wearing my track suit ? Now am I ghetto or english challenged? Remember I am the same guy that you walked away from impressed

This is why I'm looking to go a little more specialized that just FAK and OS/OD stuff. Everyone is hauling OD stuff now, and FAK is just too cheap anymore. I'm looking strongly at a Revolution H and a Fastrak kit and hauling specialized stuff requiring the curtain side and also hazmat freight as much as possiable... rates are in the crapper for all the other stuff unless it's OD loads needing tarps. Nobody want's to haul those obviously (40x12x10 needing tarps)

 

I wanna know what your opinion is of me then ill post a picture if you need help?

 

My idea of "ghetto" usually refers to those who have dirty clothes, smell odd and obviously have not bathed or take care of their appearence in a few days (not after loading, you call tell the difference)... Cluck falls into this catagory

"English challenged" is just that.... Russian, Polish, Romanian, Arab drivers who can not even hold a converstation with you. You've been running around Chicago enough lately to spot these guys by now. They are taking over the area in major volume. There have been several accidents here in the last few months that were caused by these "drivers" and most of them have just up and disappeared (most likely went back to Eastern Europe) and I have 2 friends who have lost everything because of these accidents. Both times they had NO INSURANCE, and the foreign drivers just disappeared. Luckily, my friends have their own insurance, but the claims have alomst put them out of business (independants) and now their premiums have almost tripled!!!!!

I myself was sideswipped by a Arabic Canadian driver back in 2007 and the guy could not even speak to the officer. When it came to go to court, the driver never showed and the judgement went in my favor. Guy was leased to Priority Transport and they filed bankruptcy 3 months later and I was stuck with the $15k repair bill. Thank god I was leased somewhere at the time and the insurance did not come back onto me at all. But I still wish i could find this guy... but he's long gone.

I am not racist, and not starting a racist rant, just speaking from my own experience. i know most of us think us better than stooping ot the level of racist trash, but sometimes the stereotype is there because it's a fact, not just a view from a simple minded idiot.

But lumping them ALL into the same bracket is not fair. i know plenty who are the complete opposite despite their ethnecity (sp?) .
I judge people on their character and attitude and now where they come from. If you ever meet me, you'll just think I'm some young, dumb kid... and well, you're about 99% right

If someone said the driver was blonde and good looking or looked swedish or Italian noone would have got their panties in a bunch. Everyone is so worried about offending someone and I don't get it. I think back and I cannot say I have ever been offended by what someone has ever said about me. Including what my race and nationality is.

My defenition of ghetto looking is about the same as SHC's and as far as non english speaking people, please exit our country.

 

I believe there is a picture of you getting your toes done right? But i would say eastern eurpoean you wear sandles and drive a Volvo, and like Vodka .... How close amI?????

And you should thank SHC for giving you an out because I am going to step out on a limb and say that is not how you would have described it ... And correct me if I am wrong but wasnt this country built on immigrants?

I live on I-75 .... I deal with my fair share of Canidian drivers ... Can't stand it ... One of them did there best to take me out a couple of years ago near Detroit ... I just choose to keep my opinion/sterotype/description of others to myself ... That way when I get some assistance from the canidian,ghetto,eastern european, Italian, swede ... Nobody but me knows how my jaded prejudice (means to pre judge) just made me look like an ### all because they dont dress like I do or have trouble grasping the english language (that ven after 38 years I still struggle with daily)

Yes this country was built on immigrants. If people immigrate here legally and learn to speak our language I have no problem with them coming here. Anything other then that please exit our country and do not come back.
