Yeah man, there some stuff going on that we got I've been hearing since Jan. Well, in 2 yrs they got to renegotiate the contract that took our 15% so I'm hopin for a pay raise right after I top out would be nice. Ca is getting a bunch of those white volvos new or most likely with around 100k on them. CA gonna get all the good stuff.

Yes we are getting rid of all the freightliners here in CA. I got a new white volvo last year, and am getting another new one later this year. They are sending all of the white ones to socal because the chains are in a box in the cab. So I guess the new trucks will have chain racks on the outside, and they are giving them to the north bid, and east bid drivers.

They have to swap each truck so it takes time, the last of the 09 volvos in the NW are just now going south and we are getting the IH and Frieghtliners, was told June before most of the swaps are complete.

Well, I'm not gonna see them Volvo's for awhile lucky dogs. We're getting some but the higher guys will get them. But I want the older KW's or Older freight liners hope they come down to me cause them suckers pull some hills. Hope they don't get rid of em. Also those Volvos see the shop alot. Guys that run em here are always having to use other trucks.

Those old Freightshakers can pull. Never drove the KW's but the senior guys hog em up, so you know they pull too. We have acouple of roadway volvos they suck. White volvos are ok.

Our older roadway Volvos with the detroits are awesome. The newer ones suck, if you get a sterling or a freight shaker they are ok but ride rough. The yellow trucks are bad as well, unless you get a 47 unit which is a triples tractor, they ate awesome and pull doubles like pulling a single pup. I had one white Volvo it was ok but no exhaust brake in them, normally don't mind it but pulling 30k+ through these mountains normally isn't fun stopping. Hope your truck has it with that Rocky Mountain set.

As far as the KWs go can't blame the senior guys. Apparently I heard from a guy in the shop say they are testing new fuels for our trucks using that natural gas

Yeah them Detroit motors are solid. It's funny that people want new equipment when the older stuff like KW's and Freightshakers pull the best. The new stuff volvos and cascadias don't pull worth a D! It looks like we got old worthless equipment but those are some #### good tractors. Even my 07 international with 80k+ rocky sets out pulls these new sleeper trucks volvos cascadias with a single trailer up hill. When I pull pups my truck pulls like SOB up some hills. Those new Volvos see the shop just as much as them older tractors we got. If these trucks were turned up to 70 I'd take a Freightshaker over a new Volvo in a heartbeat.
