    some people ought to go learn some history about the truckin industry also....... cause back in the early days , drivers were clean cut , and helped the public... and were known as the white knights of the road as in the good guys wearing white hats and the knight in shiny armor rescueing the fair maiden from the evil queen ideas......they were seen as heros to many people not as kkk burning some poor fella out or what ever..... i see alot of these young folks , take what tv or someone else says for gospel and never bother to research a subject and find out the real story..... you wanna be stupid, thats just fine , but remember one thing " YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID " THE ONLY SOLUTION TO FIXING STUPID IS TO SUCK START A 12 GAUGE....

    OK i just saw this.....LETS not turn this into something bad..i will REPORT you if you do....JIMROY didnt PICK this name..he adopted it...OLDER drivers will tell you...truck drivers were known as WHITE KNIGHTS of The Road....for the kindness they showed and willingness to help others out......thats what we were called many years ago...he meant NOTHING racist about it.....

    Seems like you need to learn the difference between someone being wrong and someone having a different opinion than you. There are several comments from people stating that they like the idea, but the name is a detriment. It doesn't matter that this is how some old timers did things. Times change.

    You called yourself coming to the aid of a friend yet the first thing you did was threaten to report someone for having a different opinion than you. Then you wonder why drivers don't stick together anymore. Newsflash YOU are part of the problem. Jim saw where I was coming from without resorting to childish comments about reporting people. I'm done.

    i for one agree, my wife is inca/ peruvian from peru ..... I am not racist at all, don't have a racist bone in me, i hate everyone equally..... Lol And just in case anyone wants to know i am Conservative , Northern Calif Ridgerunner.... i belive in doing what right, being fair, courteous, and just.... I try to live by the golden rule , " do unto others as you would have them do unto you, NOT, " do unto others before they do unto you"........

    MY FAVORITE PRAYER : " LORD , PROTECT ME FROM STUPID PEOPLE" I SAY THIS PRAYER AT LEAST ONCE A DAY.... AND AGAIN THIS IS NOT DIRECTED AT ANYONE IN PARTICULAR OR ANYONE HERE..... JUST SAYIN AND IF THE SHOE FITS WEAR IT..... REMEMBER US OLD GUYS RULE..... HAHAHA

    i respect diff opinions....i was just saying that he wasnt being racist....i understand how others could be offended by the name...i was just stating that he didnt come up with the name, and in no way meant to offend anyone...he was just adopting a name that was from days gone by...

    as for the reporting of posts...i havent, i was simply saying that if this went racist, i would....

    and no, i am not part of the problem...neither did i say you were...i will not turn this thread into an arguement, you have a bone to pick with me...pm me...i will glady address it there..

    maybe we need to do a 34 min. Reset here, and get back on subject...... Its about improving and regaining the truckers " white knight ,( good guy/ hero) image...........
