Yeah i really am not sure, i am x army so i hate change and that is one reason i keep trying to find a reason to stay here. But it is just another nail in the coffin for me this week, i never really kept track of my miles until here lately was just happy to have a job. but sitting with that other driver got me to thinking cause he said he is getting around 3000 miles a week, i will have about 1800 on this check. seems to be about what i average. And that has been how it is for about the last 3-6 months, if for some reason i do stay here (no idea why i even want to) then i will getting back on pre deiam (or however it is is spelled) because im not on it now and the other guy was talking about pay and it got me thinking, when i ran teams i did 3000+ miles and got 900 dollars after taxs. i just ran 3550 last week and got 700. More miles but less money . . . . home nice. :biggrin_25523:

Yes i do. I have no complaint about the loads just the people giving them out. But it is funny to me how people with less experience are getting more miles then the people with experience, that's all i'm saying.

ok now i remember why i was leaving here, i keep trying to find a reason to stay and i really dont know why. afraid of change i guess, so i got to tractor supply last night and shut down, got up at 8-9 am and got in the dock at 10, was unloaded by 11am, now i shoot a message to me fm asking what the window was for this new load because i thought the times might be wrong on the driver tech. well they were not wrong, "you cant pick up this load until 11pm tonight" ok whats wrong with this picture? so i have tried to sleep some today off and one, but this load has to be there the 18 at 9am. and they want me to be ready to run after drop off? really? are you kidding me. Im so fed up i dont even care anymore, just keep telling myself almost done.

Get ready for the pick up time to be available for the Morning as well, but they wont tell you. They just want you to get to the shipper and sit on your #####, burn your time and get stressed out. Come on, you think they care about the driver? Ha HA HAAA.

These crazies had me leave my home Christmas day for a pickup that was not even ready for two days after I got there. Blew a nice holiday.

I don't think USX will burn you on your DAC as long as you return the truck and don't quit under a load.
I am eligible for rehire there and I pretty much abandoned a trainers truck.

    Gravion Thanks this.

I turned my truck in because I was only getting 2 loads per week. Starving at the truck stop.... boooo hoooo. Plenty of work here in TX. Have not seen any snow either... Oil field is hiring and freight is a moving in every direction. You control your destiny, not USX or another carrier.

USX will welcome almost anyone back with open arms. They keep your employee ID valid indefinitely and returning drivers save them paperwork.
