Im coming back and im probably going with these guys. Ive been with small small big big and bigger companies. The small companies are the same as the big cmpanies but the small companies are always fighting for freight. I know drivers that work here and are perfectly happy with them. Like I always say you have to make the best of the situation that is presented to you. I for one dont care if i come home and at this point all i need is the load info as long as they get me miles then theyll work for me.
students and newbies always seem to have strugles with this industry. yes this industry will beat you up and spit you out but the ones who fight there way back usually succeed and are happy in the industry, just remember most of its common sense your just delivering freight from dock to dock it dont take a rocket scientist to figure this job out.texasbigbird54 Thanks this. -
I tell my wife if you got a plan and work hard for it, it can happen just takes time and patience.

been here 18 mos. trucks are great. trlrs are hit and miss. but i have NEVER been hassled about getting something fixed on the equipment to make it legal. They have also reimburesed me EVERY SINGLE time for out of pocket expenses for lights and incidentals like that, except for the few time i lost the receipts. I am lucky that i have a great d/m and a good rep with the planners. they keep me rolling. dashcam sucks, i dont mind it facing out, but facing in i dont agree with. ( i sing when i drive. ) pay scale could be better. but from what i hear, there are outfits that pay way less. OP says get your year in and bail. theres nothing wrong with that. if you can get a better rate AND better work conditions, why wouldnt you? just save the "FFE is out to screw you" drama for your mama. It's a training company, no more, no less.

I musta misunderstood their advertisment about their academy. I called them as I was interested in attending their school to get my Class A. This waiting for the county for decide to issue me a check to cover retraining at a local school is killin me. I was told that if I had my CDL A they would talk to me. Does that make make sense??

When yall are looking for companies dont let the Per Mile make your final discussion
Because you can make 1 buck a mile at one place and get 1k miles a month
And 20 cents somewhere else and run as hard as you can run and make alot more money.
Alot of times you will see the ones that offer really high per mile pay and if you talk to there drivers there hungry because the weekly/monthly miles you get suck.
I prefer % and always have but different strokes for different folks.Jrdude5 Thanks this. -
They will take students that already have a Cdl but if you dont have one you must reside in Tx. A way to get around tbat is to get a po box that has a physical address for the box # ...
