I know just funny that roehl wont grab anything for flatbed up there.

 

Anybody get a pay increase or scorecard update since the last quarter being end of march? Payroll just sends me to my fm, in which can't tell me why or why not I got a increase or not. Nor can updated scorecard. Performance pay plan being every quarter it's something I look forward to and have goals set to achieve. But talking to anyone that'sy have the info is like talking to a wall. My fm said she had no info nor when the talk would be about it. Sheave no sense at all and couldn't answer my questions. Defeats the whole purpose. I don't care to know what people are getting paid just if you got the increase or not yet. Extremely frustrating. Ok rant over lol

 

If I remember from last quarter, I didn't get the talk from my FM until the last week of January. So my guess is next week we will know.

 

At cons preplan said no appt, but get here and appt is 1545, office check in gets here at 1400 and warehouse here at 1500. At least it's warm and dry.

 

Now into the third day of one day clutch repair in Mississippi. Shop is a metal bldg with no plumbing, chairs, ventilation or lift. Oil & grease covered concrete floor with not enough 4x4 blocks under front wheels and a dually with a compressor parked next to it. Hmm...mech said he's worked on a Volvo before...yeah, ok.

Truck world 1-80 x234. It had good reviews and tired of same ol same ol so I parked here. All kinds of bs up in that place. Hot dog joint the waitress was hot and it was cheap. Mostly bc she was hot, few far between good looking waitresses the places we go. Lots of rain in MI and got loaded for heavy wind on I-80. Almost saw a container truck lose his container. Wind was so bad he was slanted barely keeping it in his lane, then the container came off the chassis several times on the back end I was like oh boy lol. 78500 n change I was like a rag doll to my surprise. And that nestle it was dark and rainy this morning when I showed up I completely missed the shack. The guard was pissed. I laughed and apoligized he didnt care. Its ok I'd be a grump living in that town being a guard too. Seems like the people that work there u can just tell they hate their job.

 

I missed it too. I'm sure happens a lot. Guard I had was a friendly guy though, or better mood if same guy.

 

FYI New truck stop that is not in the books. Cedar Rapids, IA. The old Just Diesel has been torn down. Casey's General put in a nice facility. 10 fuel islands, showers and a large lot with room between the rows. I-380 X 13. Just 3.5 miles down the road from where I'm loading in the morning.
