    I was going to suggest trying to haul fuel locally, but I see you are trying to do so already. It is a good gig!

    Penn mechanical may hire you, curry supply is right down the road, lots and lots of coal hauling jobs near you...

    These are small trucking companies, your not gonna find them online, go bang on some doors.

    Look into satterlee, they have a lot of fuel tankers.

    Some places may seem far away but would let you take your truck home.

    I know ww sell and ram transit haul cement out of near state college

    FTI would hire you and prob. Get you past the house 3x a week and weekends, they aren't awful I pulled I flatbed for them for awhile.

    D pierce and Ron gross run a lot of Baltimore to Pittsburgh turns and that could get you home darn near every day.

    He's not married yet. Therefore FMLA doesn't kick in in this circumstance.

    In order to be eligible to take leave under the FMLA, an employee must:
    work for a covered employer;
    have worked 1,250 hours during the 12 months prior to the start of leave; (special hours of service rules apply to airline flight crew members)
    work at a location where the employer has 50 or more employees within 75 miles; and
    have worked for the employer for 12 months. The 12 months of employment are not required to be consecutive in order for the employee to qualify for FMLA leave. In general, only employment within seven years is counted unless the break in service is (1) due to an employee's fulfillment of military obligations, or (2) governed by a collective bargaining agreement or other written agreement.

    Does PA recognize common law? He may qualify if they do.

    There's still the issue of how long he's (not) worked for them. He doesn't qualify on that front, either.
