Maxx. Accelerator is twitchy, but it shifts like butter. Breaks stop on a dime. Turns better than the Cascadia.

My teacher at my CDL school did most of his trucking from Prime and stayed with them awhile he doesn't have many bad things to say about them but the only thing he said was they would try to sneak the extra lbs and he got busted being over 80,000 lbs.

An update on my truck:
Just delivered a load that ran from Joplin to a town outside Chicago. 79890 gross, full of fuel. Ran at 58 mph much of the way, and held at 8.7 until the middle of IL, where the wind got fierce and I had to detour around the I-55 closure.
Through a few small towns, frozen rain, hail, headwind, and a few nasty gusts, I still couldn't get this thing to run lower than 8.0 mpg.
Down sides... This thing has very twitchy steering. Really easy to over correct, though that could be a result of windy conditions.
Still having trouble remembering switch locations, I'm used to Cascadia control panel placement.
The cruise control behaves differently than a Cascadia, particularly where the jake or radar is involved.
And I am having to adjust to having no fender mirrors. The Challenger, Kutina and BigJayDragon Thank this. -
Hey Jimmybones congratulations on getting your truck and getting on the road. I just talked to a recruiter yesterday at Prime. I live in California and as soon as I get the green light I will be heading out to Springfield to start my journey. I am a nervous wreck I am not worried about the background or physical as I am in good shape and have a spotless driving record for the past 20 years. I am nervous because this is my first time ever even considering getting into a career like trucking. I will try to keep you guys posted on what is going on and if you don't mind I would like to track everything for anyone that is green under the gills like me. One question though, if I live in California and the nearest terminal is in Salt Lake City how is that going to work? Any insight would be great. Thanks and wish me luck.

Here are a few more pics of my truck interior since I finished getting it all set up.
Mounted my tv on the small shelf by the foot of the bed. It can be folded to not be in the way when sleeping or driving.
Passenger seat removed, fridge and microwave are free standing, no need to mount on anything. About $200 for both from Walmart. Doesn't hinder visibility from there.
Whole lotta storage space.BigJayDragon, warrior81, Kutina and 2 others Thank this. -
