Hi all, would a German Shepherd be too big to take in a Conway Truckload cab? She is the only thing keeping me from jumping into trucking right now. There would be a place to keep her while in training but afterwards it would be nice to bring her along. The plan would be to take walks and/or jog when stopped to keep both of us fit. Would it be a tight fit? Does Conway go to many places with restrictions on pets? Thanks for your time, I enjoy reading the posts on this thread, Conway sounds like a great company.

There some places u can't take ur pet. But u are aloud to bring the dog. I belive they charge .01 cent a mile or something like that.
-
With your personality I bet you could talk conway into letting you bring your dog.
-
That would be ok, I understand if mileage is up to snuff they'll pay the one cent as well. Not much for climate control although from reading these posts southern Texas sounds like a place that makes a person a believer in air conditioning.

Dear God.!!!!..Do Not put a German Sheppard through this hell, living in a truck...
dschmidt201 and losttrucker Thank this. -
you made a good point. It does get hot in Texas, you better ask conway if they have APUS or if you can leave the truck rinning for your faithful companion. If they say no then either find another job or find someone to care for your dog.

The plan, if this is actually doable, is to stop every three or four hours to walk for about 20 minutes. I'm putting together information on here that leads me to believe if a person isn't dickering around pushing the miles can also be incorporated with getting out and moving around. Corrections to this are certainly welcomed.
