Scrolling through my facebook today I noticed this that had been shared on a page. It's an artical from some magazine don't know which one written by some guy in PA. Appearntly he's a company driver at least I would hope so, probably works for some big mega carrier, at least from what I've read in the artical. It's sickening to me that this idiot and yes I will call him an idiot would say this about us hard working small business truckers. He never has to worry about calling brokers to get paid, getting docked for delievering late, finding his loads, or anything of that sort. Sad thing his statement about sever truck crashes are show his idiocricy especially if you look at the facts when it comes to Werner, Swift, CRE, etc, etc. I find this horribly pathetic as just today I passed a swift truck on HWY 136 east that had broke down, no 4 ways, and he had all of 1 reflective triangle out. So OWNER OPERATORS are unsafe but that COMPANY DRIVER was either too lazy or too stupid to put out 3 reflective triangles and do it properly, and if he didn't have 3 triangles why the hell did he leave in the first place? Ugh people like this guy make me wonder. I've attached the artical for everybody to read.
So apperantly All owner operators are dangerous.

I understand why this article upsets you but i think his statements about O/O is as bad as yours about certain compagny drivers.
-
he sits being an obedient brick in the wall and castigating those who are striving NOT to be under the thumb of corporate america
i see the same sentiments expressed here, serfs bragging about their servitude
sadlandstar8891 and old time Thank this. -

I have seen way more un professional company drivers then o/o. Think what are you more likely to see in a wreck or off in the ditch a jb, swift, or werener truck or a o/o hauling a bull rack or lowboy? How many barely english speaking o/o are out there vs company? It also seems like the article author is jealous because he is probaly govnered to 63 and can't run with a large car.NavigatorWife and rockytopcummins Thank this. -

I smile when I see the garbage here. I am an O/O and that's how I make my way. I'm a White New Mexican.
born in that state on the way to Cali. So when does someone's place of birth have to do with how they can drive? I got to Texas as fast as I could.
