Have them cook my steak medium and bring it to the Vickery service plaza (west bound) on I80 please. Only got 610 miles today through CT, NY & PA on 80. Can't seem to beat your 630 mi day. I can taste that steak already.:biggrin_25525:

Peelot I-10 x209 LaPlace LA. Have a load but picks up at 10 pm tomorrow. Expressed in a nice way my disgust and ask for them to get with customer service to get that sucker loaded earlier. Zachery GP going to McDuhNuh GA idk where there. Havent cared to look or even commit aince i shut down. 4 stops plus the con went fairly well. Missed my turn doubled back on a side street to hang a right on the street I was supposed to be on. Missed the pole and could've sworn I hit and knocked over a stop sign. This was my 1st drop, went the same way out on the way to the 2nd stop and it was still there standing up lol. A relief and confusion mix but all is well. Light load and my tandems were on A up enough it was just one of those turns. LA can be tight in some areas. First 3 drops where within a 10 mile block, last and con were right down the street. Back to Atl I go hitting every bug along the way.

The chances are pretty good. Meyers has been know to tell Roehl that it's not OD, but when you get there to pick it up you can tell that it is. Just make sure you have a tape measure (or something) to be able to measure the overhangs with and there used to be a height stick laying around the office up there somewhere for you to check the height with.

One thing to keep in mind, (unless things have changed) as long as you have an annual WI permit, you don't need a separate permit.

Who cares what companies govern trucks to. It's their fuel expense... Better MPG, better profit rolling in. Yeah, maybe adding more incentives to want to strive and earn them on your own would be nice, but I guess after buying my own fuel and understanding the business side of it, I get the stand point they come from.

Yes the speed sucks. But the more profit that comes in the more successful the company is and possibilities for more freight zone risk.

It's a common misconception drivers have that think Roehl makes a lot of money off every load they take. Heck, some load may pay $3.00 into the area you take and leaving that area they are taking a $0.70 cent load. Yeah the good load counters the bad, but back to back loads of lesser value are bad. And if the driver is not concerned about MPG, that's a potential loss.

I may have my problems with Roehl on some things, but they are pretty solid when it comes to certain things.

Rick Roehl stop posting under lanterns name. He's my friend and I don't think he'd appreciate that. Tell him I said what's up too.

Breaks were surely the problem. Slid tandems back 2 holes and re weighted.

at the rolling prarie plaza off I80 headed to Allentown for 1000 delivery Saturday. Figured I would stop early. ( I have family here so had them pick me up to get foo and a Walmart stop for cases of water. Then I can get into PA tomorrow and be able to shut down early enough to get a spot. Sadly ill be 45 min from home and have to sleep in the truck :(

Thus is why i like flatbed. With the spread axle i can tell them where to put the load and i am good. I rarely scale a load now. I will if i get questionable loads, like lumber or just oddball goofy stuff i havent seen before.

Rick would have used better numbers and been more reassuring. Trust me I've sat thru enough meeting and even had a call coaching with him once......awkward.
