It's beautiful country up there. Not much to do if your not an outdoorsman. Winters are brutal to say the least.

@skinny I hear you. would be nice if my friends came up here for a change lol. The gf does quite a bit, but then again she works 15 minutes away and goes to class not to far. Did a Brooklyn to rail yard, then a rail yard turn... Its more fun when you got a friend doing the same run, makes the day go by faster. The 4 of us on sundays on my bid are all cool, normally we all get coffee right down the street as soon as we get the trucks.

@squonk that doesnt surprise me there... its gonna be a miserable week here, all rain...

well took a 4 hour ext on my break, time to renew my med card

Did a St. Louis turn back to KC, MO & drove through some scary weather again. Man, I'm sleepy as hell, I'm going right to bed as soon as the shuttle bus gets here & takes me back to the hotel.

Been tryin to stay out cuz that coo just started. I know the work was supposed to follow all thos guys but I figured better safe than sorry. Don't wanna get laid off cuz they figured something wrong. Dispatcher here said shouldn't be a problem me doing another St. Louis turn this eve. Cool!

Well guys, I don't know how many more of these lay down turns I can handle. I'm fed up with driving in my state! The best part about being a trucker for me was seeing California in the rear view after crossing the Arizona state line! It's making me lose my mind and my hair! Starting to think the pay isn't worth having to keep doing the same ol runs in the same ol state. I don't think I could ever do a bid run in California. I'd go completely insane! At least at YRC they would give me the rail, shuttle trailers locally or line runs. Now it's just line and to the same places and the same vias. I honestly think it's just California. I need to transfer out of this over crowded dump! Texas regional would be nice. Well I'm pre-tripped and ready for a long night.

did a double 145 yesterday, 348 miles altogether, with my clock time. Wouldve been nice to do a different 2nd half but it made for an early day... I just hate driving on i84... funny there tons of road constructions on every highway in the northeast EXCEPT i84... at least fix the bad parts
