I got my start in a mixer truck about 11 years ago. Had a old beat up Mack 2 sticker with no air conditioning. That first summer just about killed me, was 57 years old and came out of a desk job. Hated it when the workers wanted to use all your water, not to mention when you had to get in the drum and beat the build up off the fins.
All in all, not too bad a job, moved over to end dump, and now doing concrete pipe on flats.
And RETIREMENT about 6 months away. -
I drove an 8 yard rear discharge. being new driver they gave me the junk truck. it was an Autocar and I slowly got it back to decent condition
to this day I still miss that Autocar. loved he job as far as driving part cause I got to raise hell on the dirt roads to the chicken farms new slabs and out of the way construction sites.
but fighting the parasite mud is work, especially if you piss off the batcher and they cover your truck up for paybackmje Thanks this. -

I'm thinking about buying myself a dump truck. Not to work with, but to ride around in and pick up women. when I get finished with them, I'll just dump them.
