Wow dude chill, I was just explaining how to save a crap load of money and still eat very well. Last time I checked this was a TMC thread, TMC does allow inverters also Most of the food I mentioned was not "prepackaged crap". And for the amount I spent on everything ha ha, you asked for it...
Microwave $5 (thrift store)
Crock pot $3 (thrift store)
Toaster oven $20 (walmart)
Truck came with refrigerator but if it didn't, a 12v cooler works great and they are around $100
So STILL after buying all that plus my food I'm still WAY WAY under what you spend a week in fast food. Eat how you want spend how you want. But in 5 years I'll still be 190lbs while your broke and 400 lbs panting waddling to the buffet.
Excited to be attending TMC Orientation on 2/25/2013

Yop, personal assumption on YOUR part not mine. That is were YOU are making it personal attacks. I don't trust 12 volt coolers to keep cold food (even with frozen food in the cooler) safe. The trucks I have had with refrigerators, don't seem to have them work for long. -
To each, their own. Calm down everyone.

I apologize, It was not my intention to make any personal attacks or ruffle and feathers. Again I'm sorry.

Indiana, I want to say I love you Maaan! I just received my Pre-hire and will be leaving as soon as I get my CDL hard copy I am headed to orientation! I was thinking old school peanut butter and jelly and bologna and cheese. Never even thought of crock pot! I can't wait to hit the road with the smell of a delicious roast bubbling in my own crock pot! Then hitting the truck stop finding a bench and sitting down with an awesome meal!
