That sure is a nice looking truck he just bought.
Hope it provides him with many years of good service.
    Notice the color?
Is he following SHC in trks. and colors now? Haha
New name for Martin, Little SHC...

SHC, Take the tire, You never know.
Also smart about replacing steer tires in pairs.
I cringe when I see people with mismatched steer tires..

I cringed yesterday when I saw a Bennett o/o with new recaps on his tag axle.:biggrin_25521:

Technically he is BIGGER than me since his truck sits about 3' higher LOL

As for the tire situation, I just wanted a R287 to replace it with, but apparently Bridgestone stopped production on them and have not resumed again yet, so I went with the R283 and we shall see how it goes. At 113k miles on the last set, I guess I can't complain too much. Hopefully I can get 250k out of these on this time around.

You need to switch to Goodyear G399's if your happy with 113K, you'd be doing cartwheels through the fuel island. I'm going to get 200k out of mine.

My tire went bad because of faulty kingpins. I had 113k on the tire, and if the alignment hasn't gone out of whack, I would have easily seen 250k on them.

That is defiantly a nice looking truck. I hope you have safe travels with it. It would be nice to get one and do well. Be safe Drivers.
