Yeah I'm at the penn 80 truck stop, headed up there in the morning along with 4 other lone star guys, picking up the same load going to the same destination. Hopefully we don't get picked on too bad with the blitz going on.

I left the house last wednesday and picked up a grader on a T-call and took it to Aurora, CO. Then DH to the Odessa yard to swap my step for flat, went to rotan for sheetrock to San antonio.. reset in Brady TX (if you have verizon... don't reset there. I was lucky to maintain a single bar.. walked to the McDonalds for internet sunday) and delivered this morning.
Headed to Schertz after to get some steel bound for SD, and apparently they have me preplanned to pick up in MN headed to Memphis TN. It picks up on 6/4... I won't even be in SD until 6/6.. maybe even 6/7 depending on how long Gainesville takes to get me fixed up. I have a tire wearing unevenly on the outsides of the tire causing a terrible wobble and bounce in the front end and I have a helacious pull to the right....started acting funny on thursday/friday... did a thorough post trip on Saturday and found the wear on the tire.. so imma stop through and see what they think. Don't wanna get popped for this blitz.. i'm already oversize so will have a target on my back!DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -

sooo anyway, lets see what's been happening, after the load DrtyDiesel took a picture of there we all ended up in Laredo and went different ways. I got a drop and hook going to NC, little bit of drama to start off as I was 35874 on the drives when I hooked up to it. That was with a half tank of fuel no less, anyway they took two pieces off the front and off I went. Delivered that today but had to wait around most of the day for an empty, tomorrow I have a two stop pick up at a couple Keen yards going to a cat dealership in San Antonio. Looks like a backhoe and a couple skid steers from the dispatch.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
I'm in North Dakota, delivering tomorrow morning with my load of steel poles. Was gonna deliver early in the AM, but called the customer and was told they won't be there till 11, so I guess I get to sleep in. I'm a little truck stop parked in the back of the dirt lot right off i94.
I took us83 from i10 all the way up to here, I gotta say, it was an awesome ride. Two lane black top most of the way, got to skip out on all the big city traffic on i35. -
Glad you found a spot up there.
Getting ready for running the rest of the way up there. Everybody seems to be in a hurry to go no where fastDrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
I took some steel up there from Schertz to ND, went 30 miles and picked up crew stairs for the pilots at FEDEX to Memphis, went 15 miles and picked up dock plates for a new grocery warehouse out of Horn Lake, MS to Elizabeth, NJ. Now i'm headed to just outside Pittsburg PA picking up gas compressor stuff headed to the copper mine in Globe, AZ for a wednesday delivery. Imma take my time on this one... and just take it in as required. will give me about 400 miles a day with a 34 in Albuquerque sun-tues. not too bad.
