Last week I was in a 55mph zone and going 55 ... I counted 11 big rigs that passed me that were going easily 10 miles over ...don't these guys care about their license?

Are these the same ones that cannot read?

All trucks left lane and they are passing on the right side on the lane not strong enough for the truck and the reason for the left lane is not to crowd.

    airforcetoo Thanks this.

DOT will not need to check the logs, but the pretrip and opening the doors or securing the load will be interesting.

you would have. Both Sunday and Monday would have had the required 1am to 5 am times to qualify it as a reset under the new rules.

that's 168 hrs from the beginning of your last restart.

The 30 minute break is required at or before 8 hrs of on duty time since your last 10 hr break. Meaning, I could be onduty not driving for 7 hrs drive 1 and be required to take 30.

It was suggested in my companies training on this to shoot for a break between hours 6-8 of your day. That covers you for the full 14.
