Have you ever been an o/o?
I know I was on the board a little over year and half ago and working with them about getting back on it.. I did have a couple of checks that were $0 but my next check was over $1900 each time so you can average that out. But what I did was budget weekly, because you can almost book yourself for the week.. Now not always the case , but you have to learn what lanes are working for you based on where you live and where the money is.. took my a good month to learn that by watching the board and talking to a couple of people in my orientation class back and forth... If you have never been an o/o it's a challenge, not saying you can't do it, but be prepared to having the learning curve so to speak and have you ups and downs till you pick it up.. It's going to matter how fast you learn and how much time your willing to spend on learning the lanes and playing with board and the biggest help is if you get in with someone already on the board that can give you pointers to how it all workshope that helps

Sorry mann, I missed this post! However I made it to Laredo went up to Green Bay area in WI and now headed back to Laredo!
Still trying get a load to Cali it is proving to be a little bit more difficult this time than it was in the past. Just how it goes sometimes! I might have to sit a little to wait for a cali load out of Laredo but will see.

Works good the way SNI sets it up I think.ricecakeftw Thanks this. -
Yes, if you go with Schneider you will be out of Fontana based on your location. There are some small drop yards and such around but main terminal in that area is Fontana.
Now when I run to Cali I try to stay south and take loads back out from there to TX or MO. Last trip that didn't happen but still came out with good pay. Had to go up through WA and out to ND area.
If your on company side you will be running up and down CA, OR, WA and then sometimes UT, Vegas, Arizona stuff. I told my DBL that I would go anywhere so I got a lot of runs out to east as company driver.Gunner710 Thanks this. -
They are all pretty clean from what I have seen. The tanker OC in Houston is a little crowded but other than that they are all in pretty good condition and well maintained. Seville OH O/C has been shut down tho for years and we just use it as a dropyard. -
Does the money you deposit into your maintenance account each week just keep building up year after year or is there a cap on it? Is it your money? Can you roll it over into the balloon at the end of the lease? Thanks.....

I know you are running back east alot but if you want, can you run mostly up and down CA, OR, WA, UT? I understand the fact it won't pay as well but I've seen how much they pay on the board for a load from fontana area to sacramento lol and theres plenty of loads going back and forth when I asked an IC what the board looked like. Just wondering btw
thanks.
