How to get tanker endorsement?

Joke not helplfull for the OP.

What state are you from? In PA you just read the section on it then take a 10 question test at penndot. What company are you working for? Do you need Hazmat as well? Hazmat is H, tanker is N, and if you have both they give you an X. Haz is the same process but involves getting finger printed (once) and a background check. If you will be hualing non hazmat stuff, all you need is the N.

Not here you don't.I took the tanker test and that was it.Now for hazmat of course you do.But when I renewed my licence last April also my hazmat, and my tankers is also on my licence.I did'nt have to retake that test.

 

Your local DMV will know...I took the practice tests offered on this site about 100 times and the test took me less than 5 minutes...It's a simple one for sure...

 

The tank test is like that here in MN, but what good is tanker without hazmat? And no, you will need to get re-finger printed and another background check, as soon as your license expires.

 

Food grade , water , chicken fat , laytex , and many other loads don't require hazmat .

 

Yeah your right, HazMat is almost all I do... so it just goes hand and hand for my situation. Many farm chemical loads are non hazmat too.
