Lol, $4000 a month for a lease payment. I could go buy a brand new truck and trailer, finance 100% of it and still not hit that.

So with a lease payment like that what are they telling you or those of you already doing it, how much money can you take home after fuel and all other deductions are made per week?

it's not $4000 for the lease payment......the lease payment is about $750 to $850 for brand new 2014.....
insurance and maint is something you will pay anyway.....maint is your money that you put aside weekly in an escrow account

the weekly net after all expenses is about $1000 to $1200......so for a single guy who is looking at it long term.... it should work.....

on the other hand.....you could get a 2007 Coronado with 600k on it with a much lower payment but probably much higher maint and fuel bills.....

you have to weigh it out........you will get out of it what effort you put in it.......

If you have to ask such a question you're probably not ready to make the leap.. ..cause seriously you're just leaping off a cliff.

just a question rollin coal. I think my credit is great. Is it good enough to buy a tractor not sure! I have plenty of cash in the bank. one yr from retirement. Asking the right questions will keep me from leaping of the cliff. Thanks for your option!

Ok then, you're able to sustain losses for quiet some time. Good luck. Hopefully you'll be trucking for profits instead of a "retirement trip seeing the country" "any going rate will work just fine - only has to cover fuel".... I make another assumption, sorry that's the stereotype go check out the expediter section.. That segment is plagued by it with the smaller trucks..
