Such a contrast between your experience here at Gordon and that of victor v who couldn't cut it. Nice post Joseph.

Is 3000 an average week or just a good week?

Joseph, from what I've read on GTI webpage, brand new CDL holders, if hired, have a one month orientation. Is that correct? Or is there a longer training period for the newest of newbies? Thx.

Delivering tomorrow in great falls, mt. Tomorrow will complete 3 weeks out and I will have 9957 paid miles. All while being downh2 days for repairs.
For the guy asking about the average week. I can't speak for anyone else but I always stay out 4 weeks and run over 12k during those 4 week periods year round. I am on the dry van USA fleet. That is the usa fleet with gordon not usa trucking...lol

I can't answer much on average miles and hometime and training/trainer/trainees. I take what I've given and run with it, and I stay out to make money. I don't know about training or anything. Sorry I'm not much help. Sitting at the Ontario Oregon rest area, have to deliver Friday at 4 am in Portland. Gonna get up in the morning and stroll over to the TA at xt 17 on 84 and head out about 3 to deliver. Trying to sleep but I have things on my mind (not work related) but its all good. Looking forward to seeing what I have leaving Portland.

Orientation is just 3 days. If you are refering to training period if you do not have any otr experience it will depend a lot on how well you perform with your trainer. If you have no experience expect at least 4 weeks maybe more.
The only reason I know this is because I have a couple of friends who are trainers.
    Good luck
